Songs of Praise will be held only once in the Western Cape this year. We Celebrate our Conductor Richard Cock’s 75th Birthday with wonderful Sacred music. Two Choirs will be leading the Audience participation in singing different styles of music in different languages: Praise and Worship, Meditation and Prayer, African and Alternative, Celebration and Koinonia.

The RCME Winelands Choir will be joined by the Tygerberg City Choir for this wonderful joyful music and will be accompanied by an eight piece Instrumental Ensemble:

Mario Nell on Organ/Piano;
Winand Grundling on Piano/Organ;
Maryke Lintvelt on Violin;
Marelise Diener on Cello,
Linda de Villiers on Flute;
Reghardt Kühn on Trombone;
Paul Loeb van Zuilenburg on Trumpet; and
Schalk Wasserman on Percussion and Double Bass.
Our Soloist for the afternoon is the young and upcoming Erin Beck.
