The Jive Culture Shock celebrates its 5th season this year and is the first live, on-stage competition since its inception in 2020. Four teams compete against each other performing minstrel and Malay choir songs, backed by a live band, with a select panel of judges watching their every move. Hosts Tashreeq TDV Devilliers and Shadley Schroeder. Judges Armien Vardien, Felecia Lesch, Sam Crouch and guest judge Jitsvinger.

A bonus on Heritage Day will be the Heritage Day FEST happening from 11 am until 6pm.
Then the stand-alone brass band competition where 4 brass bands compete against each other, also on Heritage Day.

Competition format:

Two teams in each of the 2 competition days. The 2 runners up perform in the Wild Card to determine which one proceeds to the finale. Three teams compete in the finale to determine the overall winner.

Competition Day 1 – 20th Sept – Cultural Ent vs TNL

Competition Day 2 – 21st Sept – Galacticos vs Locals

Brass Band Competition – 24th Sept – winner announced on the day

Wild Card – 27th Sept – 2 teams

Finale – 28th Sept – 3 teams
