Mpumi Dhlamini is a dynamic multi-instrumentalist, award-winning producer,composer, and music director, celebrated for his innovative approach to jazz andcross-genre musical exploration. In 2025, he was honored with the NACA Award forOutstanding Musician, cementing his place as one of South Africa’s most influentialcontemporary voices.

Over the course of his career, Dhlamini has collaborated with top-tier artistsincluding ProVerb, Zwai Bala, Jimmy Dludlu, and Lira, while producing acclaimedprojects for Wanda Baloyi, Brian Temba, Kabomo, Zama Jobe, and Sphelelo Mazibu ko.Recent Performances & Workshops (2024-2025)Standard Bank Joy of Jazz (2024) – Performed at one of South Africa’s leadingjazz festivals.
