This is the final curtain.

After many years of hosting gloriously unruly nights in Cape Town, Goldswindler is throwing one last knees-up in the Mother City — and it promises to be as delightfully unhinged as ever.

For this , we’ve secured a rare treat:

International progressive house master DJ Ruby(Malta) will be performing to an intimate audience lucky enough to secure a limited number of tickets.

Yes, that’s you — up close, personal, with a DJ who has listed performances all over the world this year, including at Balance Croatia, ADE, and other shows alongside Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Forty Cats, Anthony Pappa

• and the list goes on.

Playing either side of Ruby, will be the illustrious:

NYX (AKA DJ Mis Creamer)

She played at our first, and she’ll be there for our last!

NYX. (to the Goldswindler crowd, she’s always been known as DJ Miss Creamer) brings a certain inexplicable zest to every set she plays and has been constantly popping up on select underground and commercial lineups all over Cape Town for the past 13 years. At Goldswindler, she’s played alongside international names such as John 00 Fleming (UK), Dave Seaman (UK), Alexey Sonar (Russia), Vertex (Serbia), Haldolium (Germany) & Nick Warren (UK), and local acts such as Protoculture, Faadil & Dino Moran, to name a few.

You can count on her to hit you with a special opening set to commemorate the end of this chapter in Cape Town’s underground party history!

RESIDENT DTK (DISKOTEKAH)

Resident DTK (Diskotekah) is a conceptual brand and creative force in Cape Town’s queer nightlife scene, founded in 2014. Whilst not a single electronic artist in the traditional sense, the brand represents a collective identity that has cultivated a vibrant, alternative community for electronic music and expression.

Their sound often ranges from groovy house and nu-disco to indie dance and melodic techno. Their Soundcloud also feature hypnotic techno sets and space disco mixes, of these one of their guest mixes from Goldswindler received some of the highest numbers of likes and plays - beating those of Nick Warren and other international artists’ guest mixes for us!

For this final instalment of Goldswindler, DISKOTEKAH’s head honchos of the decks, Mr Jay and Michael Beaumont will close the party with a special Resident DTK set curated for you - just you wait!

Expect:

A 3 hour set that straddles ecstasy and existential crisis.

A room full of professional mischief-makers.

The love and debauchery that you’ve been yearning for since our last show in 2019.

GO FOR GOLD! Our first party in Cape Town was fully gold themed. And so will be our last!

This is the last chance to dance, drink, and disgrace yourself under the Goldswindler banner.
