Celebrate National Braai Day under the trees, with Pinot Noir, suitably soulful food by Bertus Basson, inspired heritage flavours from Jan Braai, and the music of Elvis Blue.

Pinot Noir & Fire brings together the timeless pairing of Pinot Noir and braai in a relaxed, open-air setting surrounded by Elgin’s natural beauty.

Endorsed by Jan Braai, the official champion of National Braai Day, this special gathering will feature one of his signature recipes as part of the fire-cooked menu—adding even more heritage flavour to the experience.

Guests will enjoy a generous, live-fire feast served from braai stations across the amphitheatre lawns, including Cape Malay lamb sosaties, chutney- basted chicken thighs, whole apricot-glazed snoek, and aged sirloin with chimichurri, each paired with thoughtful seasonal sides like creamy samp, harissa mielies, and kale & apple salad. A beautifully curated Brood Tafel will welcome guests with roosterkoek, biltong spread, fresh fruit, and more. To end, roaming dessert trays will offer nostalgic favourites like mini melktert, peppermint crisp tart, and koeksisters.

Adult tickets R850 include all food, a glass of Paul Clüver Village Pinot Noir, and a live performance by award-winning artist Elvis Blue. Wine, coffee and water will be available for purchase on the day.
