The Misfits: New Year’s River Camp Festival 2025/2026

Escape the City & Ignite the Live Music Scene!

Tired of the city hustle and ready to ring in the New Year with a soul- stirring soundtrack? Join The Misfits for five days of wholesome river camping, incredible live music, and a revolutionary idea to save the gigging scene! We’re headed to Angie’s G Spot Campsite—a stunning, well-kept, off-grid haven nestled in the picturesque De Vlugt valley, right on the famous Prince Albert’s Pass (R339).

The Misfits Music Revolution: A Concept Festival

This New Year’s event is more than just a party—it’s the christening of Angie’s brand-new stage right on the water’s edge and a crucial proof-of- concept project brought to you by The Misfits and BIGLittle Music SA.The Hard Truth: Live music is fading. Revenue streams are drying up, leaving artists struggling. We’re testing a new way: “Busking in a Venue.“How You Can Help:We’ve kept ticket prices low (they cover your camping costs!) to ensure affordability. We’re asking you, the public, to sponsor the art! Instead of venues bearing the full cost, your donations go directly to the artists performing. If you have a soul and appreciate live music, this is your chance to make a real difference. Help us prove this model works so we can bring this fresh approach back to the cities in 2026! Donations are welcome via card, SnapScan, or cash.
