The A Cappella Music Festival is a community-based initiative aimed at providing a platform for a cappella groups, who sing at taxi ranks and busk around Cape Town, to showcase their talents in professional stages. The festival will feature not more than 20 a cappella music groups, offering them opportunities to promote their music and create job prospects for the youth in the arts and culture sector. The festival seeks to foster partnerships, celebrate local talent, and support the growth of youth-led music initiatives in townships.
