The SU Choir is one of the oldest choirs in South Africa and consists of
students from different backgrounds – academically and culturally – something
that results in a unique energy and great spirit. Under the direction of André
van der Merwe, the choir has held the top position on the international
Interkultur rankings for over a decade and has won numerous awards across the
