Featuring the Mamela Band with Charles Louw, Carlo Fabe and Clayton Pretorius, the evening blends live jazz, soulful vocals from Babalwa Mentjies & Cindy Gibbons and powerful spoken word by poets Riyo (Riyaadh Sarang), Rea Mmethi and Shankly Farred, with MCs Vusumuzi Mpofu & Eugenia Zantoto. Curated by Winslow Schalkwyk and Vusumuzi Mpofu, this 90-minute experience celebrates Nelson Mandela Month, African identity, heritage and creative expression this Africa Month.
