Upon being invited to a dinner at Lances house recently I discovered what I believe to be a great talent. We were ushered into a room just off from the main house and a classical extravaganza ensued, music and spoken word!

Born in Johannesburg 1958. Started playing the piano at age 9. 1978 - 1982 Bachelor of Music degree at The University of the Witwatersrand specializing in music performance. Also played the piano in pop and jazz groups at university. 1984 Studied for a masters degree in piano with Lamar Crowson at UCT. 1985-1991 taught music maths and science at Pinelands and Henshilwood High school. While teaching he won two National Song competitions. From 1992 - 1998 he worked as a composer and engineer at Milestone Studios in Cape Town. Between 2000 - 2020 he owned his own business composing and producing various styles of music for various clients. He wrote songs and music for film, commercials, corporates, children’s TV. 2020 - Started sharing his knowledge and experience of music in the form of concerts, talks and soirées.

By offering these intimate concerts he hopes to make all music, and classical music in particular, more meaningful and accessible
