A night of sonic weaving, embodied celebration, and musical storytelling. ULUNATION is about friendship, afro electronic music and elating dance. We welcome DR. ADO (UK & Ghana) & BELLA WORLDWIDE (Canada & Caribbean) alongside our resident curators for an exquisite night of revelry and musical exploration.

We begin at Biblio Listening Bar & Club’s sunlit and sublime Rooftop, 6PM. And continue the dance at Biblio’s intimate and gorgeously decorated Library Room (main dance floor).

Bella Worldwide (Cassy Isabella) is an award-winning international DJ, singer/song-writer & producer whose global explorations as a travel influencer turned DJ/artist have redefined her sound. With Caribbean roots, a Canadian upbringing, and three years based in Cape Town - now based in Johannesburg, Bella was crowned Cape Town’s Best Female Gold DJ of 2024. Her “worldwide” moniker is well-earned, having performed across Canada, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Togo, Vietnam, Tanzania and the U.S., while sharing stages with artists like BNXN & DJ Maphorisa, featuring in a Mr. Eazi music video, & collaborating with top DJs across Africa.

Specializing in Amapiano, 3-Step, Afrohouse and Afrobeats, Bella’s work as a travel curator has enriched her unique ability to connect with diverse audiences. Now stepping into the world of recording music, fans can not only look forward to genre-bending sets that weaves together storytelling and global rhythms but a fresh, unique sound, that bridges cultures and unites people through the universal language of music. DR. ADO is a Ghanaian, London- raised DJ, singer, and producer with over 2 million streams worldwide. He’s the founder and resident DJ of Casa de Afro, a lively event series celebrating Afro House and Latin Dance music across Mexico City and beyond.

His latest release, “Starlight” with BOKKIEULT and Anjunadeep, blends soulful vocals with hypnotic grooves, marking a new chapter in his global sound.His music has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Netflix Originals, uniting cultures and elevating Afro-diasporic sounds on the world stage. Dr. ADO was recently awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Essex for his contributions to creativity and philanthropy through his watch brand, Vitae London. His philosophy: Music can heal all.

ULUNATION is a collective-run event and Afro House / Tech experience, presented by a community of dancers, DJs and afro electronic enthusiasts transforming club culture by creating safe, warm gathering spaces for Cape Town music lovers to dance, connect and release. To ululate means: “a sound resembling a howl, frequently used to express strong emotions like grief, joy, or celebration” and nation meaning to us “a body of people united by common values and culture. In other words, ULUNATION is a united group of people who come together to express joy, grief and everything in between with elevating dance and afro electronic music. Celebration. Care.
