Multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician Derek Eyden presents a broad collection of his own songs composed over a two-decade stretch. Spanning musical genres such as folk, acoustic rock with a dash of R&B and jazz in the mix, many of these songs will be performed in public for the very first time on the night.

Derek will be live on stage as a solo artist, but on certain tracks, he will be joined by surprise guest artists, including professional and aspiring performers from Get On Co.Music Studio, Naturelore Academy musicians, as well as a few accomplished musicians and band members from his early days on the gig circuit.

The event celebrates the launch of Derek’s much awaited EP, Gently Bound, featuring the recently released protest rock track ‘Blood On Your Lips’, which is already available on all major streaming services.

BOOKING NOTES

If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies - just drop us an email to events@caferoux.co.za and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
