We’re excited to announce a Summer Outdoor Golden Circle Show at café Roux - James Stewart & John Ellis as they explore the music of Sting!

Please note:

Doors open at 4:30pm. Shows start at 5:30pm and will be done by 7pm latest. Like Kirstenbosch, this is a fully outdoor concert & these shows go on despite a little bit of rain.Please come dressed accordingly.No cooler boxes permitted, we have our full menu on offer!

James, celebrated as the frontman of The Usual with SAMA awards and Emmy nominations to his name, and John, former lead of South Africa’s Tree63, are set to deliver a unique and heartfelt interpretation of Sting’s timeless classics.

James Stewart’s mesmerising vocals and John Ellis’s charismatic presence will enchant you, providing a deeper appreciation for Sting’s enduring influence on their musical careers. It’s a testament to the power of music to inspire and transform. This show is not about replication but reinvention.

Expect to hear Sting’s solo hits and The Police classics through the distinct voices and artistic lenses of James and John. Their individual journeys in the music world have uniquely shaped their interpretations, resulting in a fresh and captivating take on these beloved songs.

BOOKING NOTES

If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together.
