Daniel Raiskin is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and thoughtful conductors of his generation. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, he studied at the city’s renowned conservatory before continuing his musical education in Amsterdam and Freiburg.

French pianist Lise de la Salle is considered to be one of the most distinctive pianists of her generation, admired for her virtuosity, musical intelligence and ability to bring freshness and spontaneity to familiar repertoire. As the Washington Post wrote: “For much of the concert, the audience had to remember to breathe… the exhilaration didn’t let up for a second until her hands came off the keyboard.
