BEETHOVEN UNBOUND

Two of Beethoven’s greatest works, one unforgettable concert: the soaring lyrical brilliance of the Violin Concerto and the electrifying power of the Fifth Symphony. From lyrical beauty to the powerful “fate” motif, this is Beethoven at his most dramatic. Finnish conductor Pietari Inkinen has conducted leading orchestras and opera companies across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. His distinguished career includes serving as chief conductor of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie. Canadian violinist Blake Pouliot has established himself among the leading violinists of his generation, combining commanding technique with exceptional interpretive depth.

A sought-after soloist on four continents, he has performed with leading orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Philharmonic and Philadelphia Orchestra.

There is a pre-concert talk at 18:45 open to concertgoers.
