Through music, poetry and ideas probing how moral courage and ethical leadership can rebuild trust, mend deepening divisions and make peace sustainable, our keynote Dr Shashi Tharoor will offer a timely, challenging and hopeful call to action.

This significant Lecture sits firmly in a lineage of moral courage. Since its 2011 inauguration (when His Holiness the Dalai Lama delivered the address via livestream - a first), the Peace Lecture has welcomed voices such as Kofi Annan, Mary Robinson, Melinda Gates and President Cyril Ramaphosa. Each year the Lecture turns public conversation into public responsibility — pressing audiences to act where conscience and policy meet.
