GoodkatGoodkat started as The Brothers Goodkat back in 2010 with brothers Rohann and Neels Smit on guitar and keys. After a few lineup changes and a hiatus, they re-emerged with Paul De Villiers and Du Toit Kemp on bass and drums. Drawing influence from the vocal grit of Tom Waits, the swagger-piano of Peter Cincotti, and the cinematic storytelling of Murder by Death, they’ve shaped a sound that’s both raw and reflective — what they call “dirty kitchen rock.”

Upper MillUpper Mill is a Cape Town–based indie rock band formed by brothers Joshua and Jannik Richter in 2016. Joined by TG Pool and Jan van Biljon, they’ve released three albums and recently dropped their single “Sunny Weather.” With melodic hooks and thoughtful lyrics, Upper Mill blends indie charm with heartfelt musicianship that resonates both live and on record.
