Celebrated singer-songwriter Wren Hinds is set to embark on an intimate yet expansive tour across South Africa between February and April 2025, supported by Concerts SA and presented with funding support from the South African National Treasury’s Jobs Fund and the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) as part of the Festival Enterprise Catalyst (FEC)- This highly anticipated series of performances will take Wren and his band to various towns and cities in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience their captivating live sound.

Signed to the iconic UK based Bella Union label—home to some of the most treasured names in indie and alternative music, including Fleet Foxes, The Flaming Lips, Beach House, and Father John Misty— Wren Hinds’ emotive performances have unveiled the artist as one of South Africa’s emerging voices. With his evocative lyrics, tender melodies, and an innovative blend of indie, folk, and subtle jazz soundscapes, Wren’s performances promise an immersive musical experience.

For this tour, Wren will be joined by his masterful band, an extraordinary convergence of Southern Africa’s cherished musicians including- Jonno Sweetman (Kyle Shepherd trio, Reza Khota Quartet) on drums, Dylan Fine (Zoe Modiga, Langa Mavuso, Manana) on electric guitar, Maurice Paliaga (The Dirty Skirts) on bass.
