The night will feature a screening and discussion of “A Different Kind of Time”, an experimental music documentary by Justin Keep which delves into the wide spectrum of drones and how sound artists in our country approach creating them, and will be accompanied by performances by both CapeTonian and Jobrug artists featured in the doc including Botanicas, hAsHtAgBlAcK.n.o.i.s.e, Lliezel Ellick, Garth Erasmus, Chantelle Gray & Aragorn Eloff.
Ranging across electronic hums and buzzes, botanical hisses and groans, acoustic echoes and whirrs, this is a night dedicated to listening closely and being encapsulated in sound??
