This collaborative concert brings together the Essener Domsingknaben (Essen Cathedral Boys’ Choir), conducted by Harald Martini from Germany, the Stellenbosch University Chamber Choir (SUCC), and Bloemhof A Cappella. Centred around the visiting boys’ choir from Essen, the programme presents an evening of musical exchange between South African and European choral traditions.

Each ensemble will contribute a selection from its own repertoire, bringing together the distinctive voices of a German cathedral choir, a South African university chamber choir, and a South African school a cappella ensemble. Through their individual performances and shared musical encounter, the three choirs offer audiences a diverse and engaging celebration of choral music across cultures and generations.
