The objective is to score tries or prevent the opponent from scoring, and a successful tackle or defensive stop is worth one point.1v1 rugby provides an exciting and unique opportunity for players to develop their rugby skills and compete in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Players can compete against others in positions, creating a more exciting and engaging competition that ensures all players can participate and showcase their skills.

Combat Rugby is a new and exciting rugby format, gaining popularity in South Africa for its scouting potential. For 2026, we are taking things to the next level by offering a complementary rugby assessment camp at the end of the season and a digital scouting platform for all our winners.
