A night of travel and storytelling through music. Ntsumi is a music composer and pianist passionate about intertwining her personal style of art with the knowledge of a composer. An ongoing,classically trained pianist with the tension of desiring sonic freedom, exploring the sounds of her ancestors through the sounds of the world. More so this show is a journey through the tensions of her sonic journey, a journey through her exploration of an unlimited compositional style, one that follows the sounds of her people intertwined with the skill of mechanical composition, being released in the sounds of jazz. Here, Ntsumi liberates herself for the first time and you are being called to listen. Making use of poetry, storytelling and music, she has curated a show inspired by her interests in theatre and her passion in music.
