Kulo Summer Festival

Kulo Summer first opened its doors in 2021 seeking to cultivate a space that shared the sounds of Cape Town’s music and jazz scenes while cultivating community and influencing the culture. Since the first days of hosting in our backyard, Kulo Summer has been seeking to find a permanent home, this project is still ongoing and we hope to share that space with you fellow music and culture lovers in the future.

This event is as a result of our community banning together to help support Kulo Summer raise funds for the continued medical care of Bathini Sigaqa’s (founder and director of KS) sister, Lwandile Sigaqa, a constant presence and worker during Kulo Summer events. The one day festival will have the best that Cape Town has to offer in the live music scene with an amazing line up including:

Internet Athi, Kujenga, Sky Dladla, Odwa Bongo, Kitso SETI, Enkosi Simelane,Bathandwa, Zusiphe, Bathini Sigaqa and more

It will be a fun family day with stalls and lots more, bring your friends and family.
