Join us at our Hästens Sleep Store in Green Point, where our skilled facilitator will guide you through a serene journey of meditation, breathwork, and sound healing—all while you rest on our sumptuously comfortable Hästens beds. Through gentle breathwork and a sublime Yoga Nidra sound journey, supported by the soothing allies of cacao and chamomile, you’ll immerse yourself in deep relaxation and learn how to create a calm, restorative bedtime routine essential for quality sleep.

Welcome drinks will be provided upon arrival, followed by light snacks after the experience.

Sound Healing:

Sound healing is a practice that uses vibrations (vocal or instrumental like gongs, Tibetan singing bowls and tuning forks) in order to relax your mind and body. Some proponents also believe it can relieve certain ailments, including anxiety and insomnia. Sound healers say that it works by lowering blood pressure, improving circulation and reducing respiratory rates.

Meditation:

Meditation can be defined as a set of techniques that are intended to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention. Meditation is also a consciousness-changing technique that has been shown to have a wide number of benefits on psychological well-being

Breathwork:

Breathwork describes a group of exercises that teach you to manipulate your breathing rate and depth with the goal of bringing awareness to your breath and ultimately providing the same benefits you might get from a meditative practice

Facilitator: Clare Morris

Clare is a holistic health practitioner, trained in a range of different modalities for over 15 years. Her skill set involves, amongst others, breathwork, meditation, yoga, nature connection, and sacred sound healing to create experiences for personal transformation. She provides a space of safety where you can experience healing by taking the time for yourself to connect with your inner being at deeper levels.

Parking:

There are various places to park around our store. There is on-street parking along Main Road and opposite the Gallows Hill Traffic Department, as well as around the back of the Somerset Square building when you go up Highfield Road.
