Helderberg Village is thrilled to host a concert featuring the remarkable talents of internationally acclaimed pianists Marija Bajalica and Marija Djukic. This extraordinary event will showcase the art of Piano Four Hands, a style that highlights the harmony and synchronicity of two pianists performing on a single piano.They will perform Gabriel Faure: Dolly Suite Op 56; Sergei Rachmaninov: Vocalise; Carl Vine: Sonata for Piano Four Hands, and Souvenirs Op 28 by Samuel Barber.

Meet the Performers Marija Bajalica, a Serbian pianist with an illustrious global career, completed her Master’s studies in Piano Performance at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Her accolades include top prizes at prestigious international competitions such as Italy’s ‘Carlo Soliva’ and numerous collaborations with renowned orchestras. Having performed extensively in South Africa, Australia, and Europe, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her performances. Her recent collaborations with Marija Djukic have deepened her exploration of piano duet repertoire, resulting in mesmerizing performances.Marija Djukic, also a celebrated Serbian pianist, holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. With performances across Europe, Russia, and Turkey, her artistry is widely admired. She has worked with esteemed orchestras and delivered standout performances of compositions by Chopin, among others. In recent years, her partnership with Bajalica has produced stunning interpretations of duet pieces.
