WELCOME TO BNC#8

The eighth annual BizNews Conference, BNC#8, will be held in Hermanus from March 10 to 12, 2026.

The event will feature updates from newsmakers, thought leaders and tribe favourites. BNC#8 is being broken into six clearly identifiable themes with panel discussions to conclude each subject.

This is the third year the BizNews tribe will be gathering at a Marquee erected specially for the event within the Municipal precinct of the magnificent Western Cape resort town of Hermanus. The venue is within walking distance of plentiful accommodation, the world-famous Cliff Path and excellent restaurants.

A star-studded lineup of 20 keynote speakers will grace the event, with a sprinkling of international guests adding to the occasion.

Plenary sessions for the 600 delegates will be held in a specially built structure that will comfortably accommodate them all.

As with the previous six events, the 2026 BizNews Conference is designed to provide an excellent opportunity for members of the BizNews community to interact directly with the keynote speakers, old (and new) friends from previous BNC events, and members of the BizNews team.

The event begins on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, immediately after the inaugural Liberty Conference, the brainchild of the late Neil de Beer, to be held on Monday, 9th March. BNC#8 closes on Thursday, March 12 at 18:00. Delegates will be well fed and watered, but accommodation is for their own account.

Each keynote is allocated an hour, broken down into three equal segments - the first 30 minutes from the podium, the following 15 minutes interview style with BizNews editor Alec Hogg, and in the final 15 minutes, the keynote speaker answers questions posed by those in attendance via the custom-created BNC WhatsApp channel.

Paid-up delegates will be sent details of recommended accommodation and restaurants.
