The Grazer Kapellknaben were founded in 2003 and are one of the outstanding boys’ choirs in Austria. Their repertoire ranges from classical choral music by well-known Austrian composers (e.g. Mozart, Bruckner, Schubert) to opera productions (e.g. Vienna) and traditional Austrian folk music. The choir has traveled a lot and delights audiences at home and abroad.

The Cape Choral Academy harnesses the power of music to create a generation of critical thinkers. This in turn cultivates a spirit of social innovation and entrepreneurship amongst students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The school further strives to empower learners with a mindful perspective of life and to develop their cognitive abilities through alternative academic excellence, mentorship, physical and mental fitness. The skills obtained at the CCA allows the learners to become future leaders and entrepreneurs, the future of their respective communities, provinces, and the country for the better. Music is used as the binding factor to bring all of these elements of schooling at the CCA together.

DF Malan Chamber Choir consists of 28 talented singers from the school’s normal choir. Passion for music is well and alive here, and the successful participation in national competitions is part of the annual schedule of a chorister. The group sings a great variety of repertoire, from Pop & Jazz to classical and traditional music.

Gateway Primary School Boys Choir is the 2023 winner of the SASCE competition (Intermediate Phase Boys Choir). Conductor Sugar Radu studies in Stellenbosch University’s Certificate Programme.
