South Africa’s premier orchestra under African skies.

With music like In the Mood, The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will swing at Maynardville this year. Conductor Brandon Phillips will lead a program featuring Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm, Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, Artie Shaw’s Concerto for Clarinet, Duke Ellington, a selection from Bernstein’s West Side Story, a tribute to Henry Mancini, and a whole lot more.
