Workshop ConceptKickstart 2026 with creativity, colour, and community. Join artist Brother Love for a special New Year’s Day workshop blending graffiti foundations with abstract expression. This intimate, FREE session is designed for 5 participants at a time, offering focused guidance and hands-on spray-can experience.

Each participant will contribute to a series of 20cm x 20cm wooden frames, creating a collective artwork that celebrates fresh beginnings. All frames will be available for purchase at the end of the workshop at R300 each, with proceeds supporting future community art initiatives.

What You’ll Learn & DoIn this condensed 3-hour format, you’ll move through the core modules of graffiti art: Foundations of Graffiti A brief history and context of graffiti as an art form.Straight Letters & Priming Learn block letters and surface preparation on your wooden frame.Tags & Marker Research Develop your personal tag and sketch ideas with markers.Throw-Ups & Fat Cap Techniques Practice bubble letters and broad fills using fat caps.Light Source & Skinny Cap Techniques Add depth, highlights, and fine details to your composition.Final Hour | Collaborative Abstract Wall Each participant paints one 20cm x 20cm wooden frame, contributing to a larger collective mural.
