Join us for an inspiring afternoon celebrating our dancers’ growth, courage, and pure love of movement with Contemporary Dance Laboratory (CDL) — an art education platform dedicated to promoting contemporary dance and nurturing young talent in Paarl and surrounding areas.

This year’s concert features performances by CDL students (ages 3–17) from our main CDL Studio and two branches at Carnegie Independent School and Green School — where some dancers will take their very first steps on stage, while others will showcase the artistry that earned them Gold and Gold Plus awards at the Paarl Valley Eisteddfod 2025.

We’re also honoured to welcome our special guests — SboNdaba Dance Company, a Cape Town–based professional company founded in 2021 and led by award-winning choreographer Sbonakaliso Ndaba — recently honoured as the 2025 JOMBA! Legacy Artist — empowering performing artists through dance that is unmistakably South African in origin and universal in appeal. The performance will feature four of SboNdaba Dance’s outstanding senior company members: Litha Makanda, Lusindiso Dibela, Sonwabile Mhlonyane, and Vuyolwethu Mdluli.
