Old Nectar Concerts welcomes the violinist Miclen LaiPang and pianist François du Toit for a programme entitled ‘Red, White, and Blues’ at Old Nectar gardens historic wine cellar in Jonkershoek. This concert program captures the dynamic interplay between American and French musical traditions, blending the lyricism of romantic and impressionistic French compositions with the rhythmic spirit and blues of American jazz. The pieces selected highlight the vibrant exchanges between these cultures, celebrating the beauty of shared musical influence. Violinist Miclen LaiPang has swiftly emerged as one of the most compelling and versatile artists of his generation, earning global acclaim as a soloist, chamber musician, concertmaster, and educator.
