The Listening Experience Vol.4: Beats, Bars and Banter

Join us for our first Sunday edition of The Listening Experience. Something special, something surreal for intentional listeners.

Inspired by our recent events with music producer, beat maker and sampler @in2une we decided to join forces to present The Listening Experience. This event is focused on reviving the underground Hip Hop, Jazz and Neo Soul music scene in Cape Town. Also, providing a space for producers and wordsmiths to connect with each other and to connect with the listener - we aim to foster a beautiful community. We found a home at One Park, which we recently learned was opened for listening sessions. So it only made sense that we host it there.

As usual we welcome you to come enjoy the music in whichever way you feel comfortable. There’ll also be a conversation with the artists on their journey and creative processes. Come draw, come with a friend, come alone, sit, stand, move, feel. Immerse yourself.

This volume will be a celebration wrapping up the previous volumes we hosted. Local clothing brand Afrogrunge will be styling and dressing the artists and that’s not all! The first 20 people who purchases a ticket online and the first 10 people to buy a ticket at the door will receive a 1 of 1 tote bag by Afrogrunge.

Vol. 4 will take place on the 22ND of December at One Park, from 7PM until late.
