This inaugural ARCO Project concert sets the scene for the Kaleidoscope festival. You will be treated to an irresistible menu of well-known South African music, some even Karoo-flavoured. The stars of the show are young learners from across Prince Albert who began their musical journey with ARCO in early 2025. ARCO Teaching and Learning Manager Elliot Tingley along with PACT Creative Arts Leader Waldon Paul Ewerts have curated this unique concert and dedicated their lives to teaching these young learners over the past months. Essential to order your crumpets and warm drink before the day! Concert is FREE.

ARCO is a registered non-profit company (NPC) in South Africa that delivers free music lessons to early years and primary school students on violin, viola, cello and double bass. ARCO partners with the Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) and is in the initial stages of a major research project with Nelson Mandela University (NMU).

The ARCO Project in partnership with PACT has a dream to create a musical oasis in Prince Albert and the surrounding municipal areas (including Leeu Gamka and Klaarstroom) that will transform, uplift and re-shape the future of its young people. ARCO is focused on job creation, community empowerment, mobility through music and sustainability. ARCO is committed to using only indigenous South African and more specifically Afrikaans music as its primary teaching material.
