3 Diverse Choirs | Christmas Carols | African Christmas Songs | Heart-centered Songs All garnished with Love and Light and a generous dollop of Positive Vibes!!

THE HEARTSONG COLLECTIVE, THE CAPE TOWN CHILDREN’S CHOIR, and USAPHO CREATIVES will be weaving melodies, harmonies and heartsongs into the Christmas Spirit for this One Night Only Experience!Silent Night, Avulekile Amasango, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Feliz Navidad, A Million Dreams (The Greatest Showman), are just some of the songs you will hear on Friday, 5 December at this magical, iconic venue: St George’s Cathedral.

It’s a family-friendly concert, in support of a good cause. We are donating a portion of the proceeds to Salt River Secondary School, who are in desperate need of musical instruments and school supplies.

The Heartsong Collective

The choir was founded in 2023, by Lynne Poulsen and a handful of people ready to sing for change. They have since developed into a community choir embracing people from all walks of life, age groups, ethnicity and socio-economic backgrounds who love to sing and want to make a difference. They draw from Traditional, Gospel, New Age and Mainstream Pop to bring you inspiring and uplifting songs.More than a choir, they are a movement of voices united in harmony, purpose, and joy. Bringing people together through uplifting performances, inclusive events, and meaningful collaborations that create lasting impact.Their mission is to deliver compelling performances that inspire and unite. Build inclusive musical spaces across cultures and experiences. Equip individuals with skills in music, leadership, and personal growth. Create events that raise joy, awareness, and support for communities in need.

The Cape Town Children’s Choir

Cape Town Children’s Choir enables young singers to develop their musical skill in a positive, stimulating environment and provides a place where they are surrounded by musically-talented friends who strive for excellence. A choir of excellence requires discipline, concentration and hard work from all its members. Their goal is for rehearsals to be inspiring and musically satisfying where choristers have fun and experience a deep sense of enjoyment as they sing together.

Another goal is to grow to about 80 members and to become locally, nationally, and internationally known. Their name, Cape Town Children’s Choir, was chosen for the purpose of representing their city and country. As the choir continues to establish itself, they will be participating in regional, national and international choir festivals, eisteddfods and competitions.Their repertoire encompasses a wide variety of styles and genres, catering to a range of interests. They sing pop songs, musical theatre and film features, folk songs, gospel, classical and sacred songs, spirituals, and vernacular songs in South African and other languages. Movement is added where appropriate, but the emphasis is on singing to a high standard with a beautiful tone. They were even privileged to add a song to their repertoire which was commissioned by us and written by two South African composers in the past.

Usapho Creatives

Usapho Creatives is a vibrant and passionate choir made up of 20 talented young artists from townships across Khayelitsha in the Western Cape. United by music, their members are not only performers but storytellers—many of whom use music as a way to overcome life’s challenges and express hope, unity, and resilience.They perform a wide variety of music styles, tailored for all types of events. Whether you’re looking for soulful harmonies, uplifting rhythms, or heartfelt performances, Usapho Creatives brings energy, emotion, and authenticity to every stage. The choir is led by Themba Tsotsobe (Choir Conductor) and managed by Sfiso Nkosi.
