Die US Koor is een van Suid-Afrika se oudste kore en een van ons land se voorste klutuur-uitvoerprodukte. Onder leiding van André van der Merwe beklee die koor meer as ’n dekade al die voorste posisie op die internasionale Interkultur-ranglys vir amateurkore, en hulle ryg wêreldwyd toekennings in. Dié studentekoor se energie en sjarme kan toegeskryf word aan die uiteenlopende agtergronde –akademies én kultureel – van sy lede. The Stellenbosch University Choir is not only one of the oldest choirs in South Africa, but also an internationally recognised cultural treasure. Under the direction of André van der Merwe, the choir has held the top position on the international Interkultur ranking for amateur choirs and has won numerous awards around the globe. This student choir’s unmatched energy and unique spirit can be attributed to the great diversity of its members’ backgrounds, both academically and culturally.
