Sandile was born in Gugulethu Township, Cape Town. Musical journey started at church (choir), later in school choirs (Choral Music). He then developed the love for Jazz and persuaded his passion by enrolling at the University Of Cape Town, College Of Music in 2005 (also known as UCT SACM). Graduated in 2010 with Post Grad. Diploma in Jazz (Singing) Cum Laude. His musical experience includes touring with the UCT Big Band (led by Professor Mike Campbell), Standard Bank Youth Jazz Band, McCoy Mrubata, Sibongile Khumalo etc. In 2013 Sandile left for Australia to be part of Disney’s The Lion King Musical (Australian Tour) Ensemble Singer from 2013 to 2016. He’s currently based in the United Kingdom, London where he is part of the WEST END PRODUCTION of The Lion King as a Singer Swing and Dialect Coach.
