The group, comprising Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins, and Tiaan Erasmus, has captivated audiences with their rich storytelling and diverse soundscapes, gracing stages from local theaters to international festivals.Rooted deeply in the eclectic musical traditions of Southern Africa, Georgetown blends classic folk sensibilities with unique local influences, creating a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly original. Their performances are a showcase of musical versatility, featuring an array of instruments such as the acoustic guitar, accordion, piano, upright bass, mandolin, harmonica, and even a vintage suitcase kick-drum.
