A Journal Cover-Making Workshop

Maemo is hosting an intimate, hands-on workshop designed for corporate girlies to slow down, create, and reconnect with themselves, and each other.

Pressed Leather & Private Pages is an evening centred on craftsmanship, reflection, and intentional goal-setting. Inspired by the leather journal covers popularised by Louis Carmen, guests will design and assemble their own leather journal covers during the workshop.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own A5 journal, reading books or notebooks, which they’ll dress and personalise on the evening.

The experience blends creativity with purpose. Alongside the leather-pressing workshop, we’ll guide guests through a goal- and systems-setting session, using their journals as a private space to map intentions for the season ahead.

The evening will take place over dinner, with a relaxed, elegant atmosphere styled in denim and white. Come dressed on theme, arrive curious, and leave with a handcrafted journal cover, clarity for your next chapter, and new connections.

Your registration helps us prepare for a thoughtful and well-held experience. Please note that cancellations must be made in writing to maemo.socialhub@gmail.com. Cancellations need to be submitted at least 24 hours before the event. No refunds will be processed for cancellations made within the 24 hour window before the start of the event.

Unfortunately, no refunds for no-shows. If you are unable to attend on the day, you are welcome to reallocate your ticket to a fellow corporate girlie. Furthermore, all vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Maemo and the venue will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to vehicles or personal belongings. Purchasing a ticket to any Maemo event confirms your understanding and acknowledgement of the above.
