Dukes of Note is a Carnival Rock band from Cape Town combining elements of Balkan rhythms, gypsy punk, vintage blues and swing with good old-fashioned rock ‘n roll; an eccentric blend of dark yet playful theatrics makes for a truly unique performance, at home on any stage, big or small. Dukes of Note was founded in October 2014 by frontman singer, guitarist and songwriter Nick Nesimowski (aka Nick Knightshade). Originally a 3-piece outfit, The Dukes have evolved their rock band sound by including guest instrumentalists and have pushed the limits of their live performance beyond the rock show, collaborating with burlesque dancers, contortionists, jugglers and acrobatics. With fun, interactive elements woven into the live experience, every Dukes gig is a mystery that will plunge your imagination into the depths of the unknown. You may be sent on a scavenger hunt filled with dark riddles, or help the band write a new song onstage.

4pm - 7pm The will be a Carnival at The Hanklip Hotel. Bring the kids for free fun activities!

DINNER & SHOW Seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to arrive early, as doors open at 5 pm, especially if you would like to enjoy a dinner before the show.
