IDINGA: A TINY TASTE OF EDENIntroducing “A Tiny Taste of Eden,” a forthcoming event that honors the otherworldly element that comes with creativity.

We want to bring you into a new world of mystic and art. We hope to create a space where artists feel inspired to create and collaborate with our open mic set and body art station kicking off the event.

This event is about more than just music and poetry—it’s about creating space for POC and diverse talents in Cape Town to be seen and heard.

We have an exciting line up of PoC and queer artists who are making waves in CPT:

ENBY:ENBY is a black South African artist whose artistic vision is centred around artistic exploration and sonic fusion. Get ready for them to bring you into their sensual melodies and poetic stylings!

Aphelele:Aphelele is a pop and alternative soul artist. To put in a few words: all they want their music to do for you is make you forget where you are, what you’re going through and just experience it. To feel everything that Aphelele will give to you and help you see that you aren’t alone.

Selarhh:Through diving into different genres such as Neo-Soul, Pop, R&B - Selarhh wanted to create an atmosphere that invites, comforts, acknowledges and assures the audience that whatever hardships you may be going through, that this setlist is made purely for you to sit with your feelings and acknowledge what it is that you may be going through then allow yourself to lean on something or someone that brings you comfort, inner-peace, healthy love and release.

Seed of Amenti:Genre / Artistic Style: Afro-Indigenous Soul Poetry, blending spoken word with ancestral rhythms, earthy instrumentals, and metaphysical themes.Set List Description: The set explores themes of earth connection, ancestral memory, inner alchemy, and spiritual awakening. It includes a mix of spoken word, ritualistic chants, and soulful melodies, curated to take the audience on a poetic soul odyssey.
