We’re taking our craft circle to the cinema!
Cape Town Craft Club brings creative people in the city together to make things in a laid-back, fun, and judgment-free space.
Everyone is welcome, from seasoned makers to absolute beginners.
This month we’re hosting an extra special craft circle at the iconic Labia Theatre. We’ll be watching Bridget Jones’s Diary with the lights on so you can see your knitting, crocheting, embroidery, or whatever craft you bring!
Swap crafting on your couch while watching a series alone for a morning of making at The Labia Theatre with other friendly people who love to make things, too.
You can watch this video to get an idea of what to expect :)
While the film will be starting at 11:30 am, you’re invited to come to chat and craft in the courtyard from 10 am!
Craft circles are facilitated by Andie Reeves, teacher, textile artist and owner of the Cape Town Craft Club

What to bringWhatever craft you’d like to work on for the evening while keeping in mind the limitations of a cinema. Projects like knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and doodling will work well, while crafts that need a lot of space, great lighting or careful attention to detail are best kept for one of our regular Craft Nights!
Please Note: The film will start at 11:30 am sharp. We’ll be meeting in the courtyard from 10 am, so come earlier to buy some popcorn and hang out!
See you there!
