Join us for a unique opportunity to explore porcelain paper clay as a versatile medium suited for handwork. Participants will delve into the qualities of translucency, weightlessness, and different stages to work with ease.

We encourage attendees to utilize methodologies that serve their individual ideas and expand their conceptual directions. Through her expert guidance, you will gain valuable insights on the dos and don’ts of porcelain firing, including how to prepare a firing mould and effective ways of refining surfaces, such as pattern making and casting options.

Our workshop will include a comprehensive demonstration of clay preparation and working techniques for using paper clay to create a carved and pierced porcelain leaf. Additionally, we will discuss firing techniques and best practices.

This workshop provides a balance between demonstrations and studio construction time, allowing participants to put theory into practice. Each attendee will receive clay to prepare a piece during the workshop, and our goal is to ensure that all participants leave with a deeper understanding of the possibilities of porcelain paper clay.
