Oom Schalk is Herman Charles Bosman’s favourite narrator and actor David Muller comes to Prince Albert on Saturday 28th December, to tell a few of them in the intimate Showroom Theatre Book through Quicket.
Having stepped into and through Patrick Mynhardt’s shoes Muller has been touring Southern Africa since 2012 with his single hander, Oom Schalk, from the Heart well directed by Celia Musikanth, the long standing doyen of Cape Town theatre.
Muller explains with a chuckle, “I step ’through’ Mynhardt shoes because of the comments received about my show.” Evidently they have all been very positive. Don’t miss this end of the year divertissement, let the words of Bosman’s stories dance lightly through your hearts.
