A journey through the vintages 2013 - 2025.

As a warm up to our famous Winterfest happening the 26th of July, we thought we would start the festivities early and bring an experience like no other to the Helderberg.

Triggerfish is known for excellence in challenging high ABV styles like Barley wine, Belgian strong ale and Imperial stouts and this is where Crazy Diamond was born back in 2013.

This beer started as a collaboration between Triggerfish and Cockpit Brewhouse. This exceptional, award winning, Belgian Strong Dark Ale is rated with some of the best beers in the world. Crazy Diamond is quadruple fermented, which refers to adding additional fermentable sugars every time fermentation slows down, and is then aged for at least 6 months before the first release of a new vintage. The final result is a marvelous fruity sipping beer that will improve over years in the cellar. We’ve brewed Crazy D every second year since 2013 with very limited quantities of the 2013 still in our cellar. All vintages are still available.

Let’s hop on the vintage train and be guided through all 7 vintages in a very intimate setting at Triggerfish welcoming only 30 guests. Lucy Corne will be taking you through these vintages and some light snacks will be provided to get you through the experience.

We will have a few limited edition Crazy Diamond bottles for sale, stay tuned for more. The tasting will start at 19H30 sharp.
