Cape Town Comedy Club is taking its hilarious hijinks to Triggerfish Brewing in Somerset West! Join us for a series of comedy pop-up nights featuring top- class comedians and side-splitting humor. Great beer, delicious food, and laughter - what’s not to love?! Mark your calendars for a regular, last Thursday of every month unbridled fun and comedy gold!

Third up, we welcome the awesome Kurt Schoonraad to our stage for a lekker evening of laughs, great beer, excellent food and the best vibe.

Mad, zany, lively and manic are among the many words that are used to describe comedian Kurt Schoonraad. Hailing from Mitchell’s Plain, Kurt Schoonraad is Cape Town’s favourite comedian and his earthy humour makes him a real South African boykie in every way.

Kurt Schoonraad hooked up with the Cape Comedy Collective in 2000 and was given a platform (built by himself in his mom’s garage) to experiment with his very unique observational style of South African comedy. He also pioneered “Jou Ma Se Comedy Club” in Cape Town.

Although hilariously funny, Kurt Schoonraad performs a clean act focusing on the widespread diversity of our rainbow nation’s varied cultures.
