About the Film: This documentary tells the inspiring David and Goliath story of how amaMpondo communities successfully halted Shell’s oil and gas exploration through a groundbreaking court case, protecting their ocean, culture, and sacred connection to the sea. The film celebrates indigenous resistance and demonstrates how combining cultural heritage, legal action, and environmental activism can tackle climate catastrophe and biodiversity loss
