We are a cow calf micro dairy based on Vergesig Farm in the Piket-Bo-Berg
Mountains. On our farm we are growing apples & pears using organic and
biodynamic practices as well as buchu and rooibos. We make cold pressed apple
juice & during the summer months we sell our fresh fruit.
In this farm based workshop you will wake up early to join our milking team in
the parlour & learn how to milk a cow. We will then walk the cows out to
pasture & enjoy a coffee with fresh warm milk in the field. With the warm
mornings milk you will learn all about natural cheese & cultured butter making
and take your own cheese & butter home. At the end of the workshop we will
share a light brunch together
