2025 Old Boys Dinner – A Tradition, Evolved - 27th August 2025

We’re excited to invite you to this year’s dinner – but with a fresh twist! After much thought, we’re introducing a dual-format evening to better reflect our diverse Old Boy community. This year, you’ll have two ways to take part:

The Traditional Sit-Down Dinner with a 3 course set menu – in the Clegg hall, just as many of you remember it. Tickets will be R500 and will include a welcome drink (wine, beer or soft drink) as well as 1 bottle of white wine and 1 bottle red wine on your table. Please note that tables will seat a maximum of 8 people per table.

The Beer Tent & Food Trucks – outside at the basketball courts in a tent, with great food, a relaxed vibe, and full streaming of the formalities from the hall. Tickets will be R175 and include a welcome drink (wine, beer or soft drink).

If booking for others, please include each Old Boy’s name, matric year, and contact details to help us group reunion years correctly.

Whether older or younger you have the choice of format that you feel most comfortable with. Formalities like the calling of the years and memorial tributes will be shared across both spaces, with a pause in service so we can all reflect together. We’ve heard from many of you over the years, and we’re doing our best to honour the tradition and make the event more inclusive and accessible for everyone. We hope this thoughtful compromise will bring more of us together—whether you’re celebrating your 10th, 50th, or even 1st year out.

Note to All Old Boys:Please note that the Matric Class of 2024 Beer Garden/Food Market entry ticket is reserved exclusively for first-year-out matriculants. We kindly ask all other Old Boys to refrain from selecting this ticket type. We will be checking names against school records and would prefer to avoid any awkwardness or disappointment. Thank you for understanding and for helping us keep this special tradition honourable for the youngest members of our Old Boys’ community.
